Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada’s expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions. With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality 
programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, 
Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology and Graphic Design. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.
Applications are invited for the position of CIT Instructor, Niagara College KSA, Al Ahsa & Al Majma’ah female campuses and Taif & Makkah male campuses. Reporting to the Chair, the CIT instructor is responsible for providing academic leadership to faculty and developing an effective learning environment for students. This exciting career opportunity offers the ideal candidate a once-in-a lifetime educational development experience in an international environment to deliver outstanding language training within the Foundation Year Program.
In addition to the requirements below, candidates who possess certification in Microsoft Office Specialization (MOS) are highly desirable for this position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivery of approximately 20 to 25 hours of IT instruction per week

Develop / revise curriculum

Provide remediation during non-teaching periods

Prepare teaching and learning plans consistent with defined learning outcomes / objectives

Prepare evaluations to assess student comprehension of objectives

Incorporate educational technologies to meet student learning needs

Provide a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources including educational technologies and the College-approved Learning Management System

Participate in curriculum and consultative committees and departmental faculty meetings

Evaluate student progress / achievement and assume responsibility for the overall assessment of the student’s work within the assigned courses

Develop and create a learning environment that is conducive to success for all students

Liaise with community members and engage in program and College promotion

المهارات
Required qualifications, at a minimum, include:

A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognized university where the language of instruction is English

Certification in Microsoft Office Specialization (MOS) highly desirable

Candidates with recognized TEFL/TESL teaching qualifications equivalent to CELTA level or above will be given preference

Three years’ experience in teaching IT at a post-secondary level

Non-native speakers of English must possess an IELTS 6.5 academic certificate or equivalent as determined by Niagara College

Demonstrated training and/or experience in the implementation and integration of multimedia technologies in an ESL/EFL language-learning environments

Experience in web-based technologies & computer-assisted language learning (CALL)

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
