Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for resolving initial customer queries and processing other requests such as activating customer accounts, as per established standards, processes and procedures. Also, they are responsible for operating a computerized billing system and ensuring that a requisite follow – up action is taken by the concerned work unit in case of an escalation.



  • Carry out day - to - day customer service and billing operations, under closed supervision, providing efficient and effective services to customers.
  • Resolve customer queries on a range of routine service issues and responds to customer complaints by either solving the issue or escalating it to concerned authority.
  • Operate computerized billing system to ensure that bills are appropriately dispatched and coordinates with banks on accounts receivable.
  • Update and maintains customer records ensuring that data is recorded appropriately and reported correctly, when required.
  • Follow all relevant procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Ensure that customers are aware of expected response time on queries that cannot be answered immediately.
  • Promote STC services as per defined policy, as applicable.
  • Handle all inbound and outbound calls for all products and services.





Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration



0-1 years of experience in the customer service at hospitality/technology/telecommunication industry.

  • Basic proficiency in relevant billing software/tools
